Scott Hall as well as the others you've mentioned have been in the world title picture and wrestled in the main event against the WWF's top guy at some time. That's not a midcarder. Hall could've been world champion in both had it not been for his personal demons. The IC is not a midcard title it's above that. A midcarder then was a guy who beat jobbers and lesser known stars and Hall was a 4 time IC champ so he at the very least was an upper midcarder and was very over with the fans.

Na cuz..... the IC, US etc titles are the Mid card belt for the mid card division and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Truth be told, the main event spot is really for only like 6-10 people. Feds don’t be having like 20-30 main eventers. You have your few main guys you push then you have a bunch of guys below them on deck ready to blow.

Also wrestling in the main event of a random house show or Heat or Shotgun Saturday Night or maybe back then Raw is War...... doesnt equate to main eventing a PPV and specifically the top 4 legacy PPVs (RR, WM, SSlm, SSries)

If we going off that logic then no one should be shytting on a lot of former WWE guys that at times went to Impact, AEW or etc and calling them “mid carders” but beside thats the point and getting back on topic


Again coli tries weaponized “MidCard” and make it like it’s a bad thing when many of their old time greats were nothing but midcarders themselves


Oh and that 6-10 (i know I said 10, I think that Number works for today due to the large roster but back then was probably pushing it) isn’t really just solely “the men’s heavyweight level” guys.

That’s a combination of the top woman/diva and possibly a tag team.

Prime example at one point of the E, say the main eventers where Roman, Brock, Charlotte, New Day (well hell thats 6 already), maybe slide Seth, Ronda and Becky in then BOOM!!!

Growing up as a kid..... Tatanka was one of my FAVORITE WWF stars and he was definitely nothing but a midcarder but I never viewed him in a negative light for being what he was

His issues it what held him back. They brought him in as a heel then turned him face because he was so popular then. They only put the strap on Diesel because of his size. Macho Man was already doing more commentating back then so you count him out of the picture. Flair was on his way out then too. Sable and Sunny just entered the WWF when Hall and Nash left for WCW and nobody was under them but Sunny was sure under Bret Shawn and Davey.

Scott was in WWF from 92-96, what issues was he having then?

Cuz from the documentations or interviews that I’ve seen, most of his “issues” occurred in WCW.... like in 98 when his wife left him due to drug issues.

Also Hacksaw Jim Duggin was at one time one of the most over guys in the WWF

That never made him a main eventer


Again it’s still like we scared to label certain guys as midcarders cuz we trynna weaponize it and make it a terrible thing.

I think as long as you’re not a lower card joke jobber like Brooklyn Brawler on in WCW maybe the Armstrong brothers you good
