shyt... my homie gave me .5 BTC as a gift for being one of his grooms men. He had been trying to hip us to it for about a year! Anyway when he gave it to me it had a value of about $60.... I cashed out a couple weeks ago when BTC hit $1200! you do the math. Its down again from the $1200, but im still watching it!

Being that bitcoin is frictionless, volatility is inherent. Thats what makes it so great, and is its biggest curse: you can move money in and out of it at will.

That being said, people move much like herds of sheep, chinas bad news literally made a lot of people dump, over half the market. In less than a week, that 6 billion dollars. If there isn't going to be centralization, there atleast need to be a lot of money held by a central party, and i mean magnitudes more than the current market cap. Thats the only way to limit its fluctuation, some party with a strong hand... there needs to be a bitcoin bank.

I bought at 900. I would buy right now at 550. and I'll buy again at 200.

Those who bought at 900 + expecting to make a quick buck didn't know better. I'm long on Bitcoin. 900 or 200 is all the same, these low prices just allow me to buy more

It jumped to $1200 recently which is a really sharp climb compared to its previous growth. That's quadruple. The Dec. 1 one-day $200 drop is interesting.

Less than three weeks later, Dec. 18 value is $561.
