Originally was gonna get the trek domane al4 but ended up with a domane sl 5Curious, what bike did you end up getting?
I googled that bike.Originally was gonna get the trek domane al4 but ended up with a domane sl 5
I googled that bike.
That's a really nice MF bike.
I stretched the hell out of my budget just to get this but I wanted a bike asap since I really fell in love with cycling begging of last year and figured it'll last me my whole life. That's why I also stick with my local trek store, I didn't give them that original sale and it's pretty big price tag. They never made me feel bad about not buying from from them, it was all congratulations from em. Then being black and getting into a predominately white sport/activity I was a bit worried initially how the store would be and never got a bad vibe.
But back to the bikes. I saw this motherfukker in the video below, sadly if I can ever afford it it'll be a long time from now.

This the color I want, this bike is just so cleanDamn! I'm not a fan of the color but that thing has features up the A.
You know what I always wonder is....people who buy really nice bikes...they have to go out and buy really good bike locks, right? You can't have a bike worth several grand and secure it with a $20 U-lock.
me too! This the color I want, this bike is just so clean

If I can't take my bike inside with me I don't bring it, I don't fukk with locks. Its why if I have my bike I'm normally non stop riding.
Personally I like trek since they have dedicated stores and I didn't see that with other brands. Similar to apple, when your stuff acting up just head to store and you good. Obviously most lbs will be to do the same thing though. So what bike brands do you guys recommend?
Because I have zero frame of reference here.
On some websites I see certain brands popping up. Cannondale, Giant, whatever.
But some other brands I have never heard of. Like someone made a bike in their garage from used landfill parts, lol
