50 Cent's TV universe is basically the cliche gangster version of Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels shows/movies

all suffer from cliches, predictability, terrible writing, terrible acting, poor pacing, only difference you get is 50 - street tales/softcore porn, Lee - black trauma/LGBT struggles, Tyler - religious/working-class family values/slapstick comedy....edit: cant forget Lena Waithe with her woke LGBT black trauma, and Kenya barris with his odes to mixed families....

i have complained about marvel/said they're overrated. but my complaint isn't so much about being formulaic as much as being formulaic and very bad...marvel movies are funny and do a good job at what they set out to do and the actors are good. 50, lee, tyler, and to an extent, lena - their products suffer from shytty writing and pacing, and mediocre at best to horrible at worst acting

This muhfukka think he Roger Ebert n shyt how you got this many complaints about the product but steady watching everything they drop? Goofy nikka behavior. I stopped watching Power before the last season for the reasons you mentioned and aint watched none of the other"books" n shyt cuz ion like it. You see me writing dissertations about how trash it is?

i actually dont watch everything...i finished power because that was 4 years of decent show before they jumped the shark, gave book 2 a chance on boredom/GP and have not watched season 2, this show was on the guy's DVR so i watched two episodes and bowed out...stop assuming a critque comes from consuming all of it. i've seen enough to know 50 cent shows are a pass - minus Tommy's book of power, i'm here for his fukkery.

Meech Jnr is shining. I don't think he has enough range to be a serious actor, but his natural swag goes hand in hand with this role.

They should have made it more realistic though. They should have shown the Ls when they were on the come up. There was some shyt about this layton guy running them out of town and forcing them to go national.
