Give him the right budget and yeah, netflix just cuts corners. has to wear a hoodie because you can't afford the special/practical effects it would take to make bullets bounce off his skin. Passed if off as some polical statement smoothly but thats not why they were wearing hoodies.

Just browsing the Tweets last night, a gang of them were from critics. And it was pretty much universally positive.

Looks like a good movie with good cast. I will be watching it but folks need to stop going overboard like supporting it is doing something for black people as a whole. This is still a marvel/disney movie and the white execs are laughing all the way to the bank. Plus lets not act like blade and spawn never existed. It's not the first black superhero movie. with that said enjoy the show.

I partially agree. Obviously a film is not going to make systematic racism and oppression go away, but it doesn't hurt to have more positive images out here of Black men and women for kids and others to see. Fictional or Non-fictional.
