If you can film in South Korea probably could have filmed something in Africa (outside of aerial shots) but its about the $$ so I get it.
This movie kills it at the box office they'll probably do it next film though.

not taking into consideration, that you have to get a license, show the goverment the script, put up big money for hotels and shoot around africiaThis complaint is as hilarious as the ones about the accents not being natural. People really be thinking Wakanda is real lol
I think the issue is more so promoting this African pride...and then not even shooting there Not about Wakanda being fictional, but being grounded in some sort of reality to connect to.This complaint is as hilarious as the ones about the accents not being natural. Far as I'm concerned this location thing is just one minor complaint that shouldn't be entertained. People steady focusing on the one "problem" and ignore that the movie is about an african king, in an african utopia, with african music, visuals, clothing and accents. It's also representing black love, pride, intellegence and strength. Cats need to chill and just take comfort that the 2nd movie could easily fill in whatever's missing in this movie.
Dude basically wants to see his country south Africa represented in the flick
He isn't being transparent. The South Korea scene is based in South Korea so I'm not sure why he has a problem with it.
Like be happy you have SA actors in the flick and they made the Wakandan language an SA language which it wasn't even a thing in the comics.
In truth Wakanda would be Nigeria more than South Africa.
based on?
Based on they don’t have a prominent cac presence and are not second class citzens in their own country.
