as much as I enjoy Legends of Tomorrow...We can't compare a feature film to some CW level shyt. I don't even think Black Lightning is supposed to be in that CW-DC "Arrow-verse" either. Got breh out there to succeed or fail on his own.

The only thing I have issue with is MBJ and Angela Basset accent or lack there off and the music. Aside from that everything else is LIT!!!!

The only thing I hate about this movie is; more of this "woke" bullshyt .

Do not get me wrong--we on the same side--but, I'm pro-black.

Most of this "woke" BS is wrapped in intersectionality, identity politics and being white people's "equal."

I want my reparations. And a Black Panther movie is not even a drop in the bucket. There's no reason this movie can't be successful outside of racism.

Yesterday I watched Wonder Woman for the first time.

I liked the movie and thought to myself “Uh oh, DC might have a hit on their hands”


Then it’s like the Marvel gods knew this and dropped this trailer and I’m like

Black Lightning will crossover as part of the DCTV universe at one point... the multiverse does exist.

See, this is why the DC vs Marvel bullshyt doesn't make any sense to me. Wonder Woman and Black Panther are my two favorite superheroes hands down, and after my girl Dirty Diana came through and crushed the buildings, my nikka King T'Challa about to follow up with a stone cold classic of his own.

We are living in a era of dreams and wishes coming true, brehs.

I’m on the fence about Killmonger having his own BP suit though. While it looks dope af, but it just reminds me of what they did in Iron Man.

Then Iron Man 2.

Then Ant-Man.

But imma reserve judgement until I see the whole thing.

Its a common theme in comics for the bad guy to be a evil version of the hero.
Winter Solider is a evil version of Cap
Venom to Spiderman
Zodd to Superman
Abomimation to Hulk
Etc etc
