Ayo, so altho it no longer really matters because it's conquered all the records it needs to conquer... lol

... still, just some final food for thought:

Outside the top five and looking at a seventh place finish we have Disney and Marvel's Black Panther, anticipating a 31% drop after a strong hold last weekend and a $3.3 million twelfth weekend. Should that forecast hold, the film will be looking to end the weekend with a domestic cume nearing a massive $694 million.

If that happens, then by Monday it will have close to $694 million domestic... and around 1.339 billion world wide.

Harry Potter is the #8 highest grossing movie of all time at 1.341 billion :lupe:

The digital release is next week but the hard copy is not until the 15th. So BP may very well edge out Harry Potter to grab that 8th spot [which will soon become the 9th spot again due to Infinity War] before it's theatrical run ends!

One more accolade:wow:

the rip i got....they def cleaned up some of the issues with the action looking too dark when you watched it in the theater...its a lot clearer..still a great fukking movie and a top 2-3 MCU movie...but yeah its biggest flaw was the action/fight choreography..it was good when it should have been great considering the type of fighter t'challa really is...it didnt help that okoye looked like the best fighter in the movie to me (props to danai for killing it)..hopefully the sequel gets the upgrade that cap america got from first avenger to winter soldier with its action (and a personal wish of achebe as the main villain)

Yea, I mentioned it in what i wanted to see in BP 2, but i felt Coogler was a little too unselfish with T'Challa when it came to the action/ "sharing the wealth".

For example, the casino scene: The time given to each character was great but Okoye had the best choreography by far, whereas T'Challa [and Nakia] were looking pretty generic. And it doesn't have to be one or the other shining. Ideally, you still give Okoye that moment but in the moments before T'Challa jumps to the 2nd floor to confront Klaw, you gotta have him take out those goons in a much more entertaining way than close-up generic punches. After those social media videos of Chad working with those MMA trainers, i expected a bit more.

And Nakia taking off her shoe and judo throwing a goon isn't going to be quite as fun, immediately following Okoye taking off her wig and using her bowstaff. So really, Nakia should've been straight up Jason Borne/Atomic Blonde. Her shtick was she uses any/everything in her surroundings, so i would've liked to have seen that, or her unveiling her rings somehow, same way Okoye did her staff.

Everything else in the movie was superb but the h2h fighting is the one thing i really want Coogler to elevate in the next one. And he's done Creed, so we know he's more than capable. But especially with T'Challa.
