:wow:Can't wait

For real, the production team for this movie seems to be on the mark with this project.

Also looks like they brought in the executive producer of Cap: Winter Soldier and Civil War on board. We've seen the results with WS and Civil War might match that or even exceed it.

So far, so good. :obama:

The darkest chapter of the Black Panther mythos continues as Wakanda crumbles from within. Enter: The Midnight Angels! Two mysterious women leading the citizen revolt against the current regime of Wakanda, challenging not only T’Challa’s politics but also his resolve. But will their rage provide more for the people than the royal family has thus far? Written by MacArthur Genius and National Book Award winner TA-NEHISI COATES (Between the World and Me) and illustrated by living legend BRIAN STELFREEZE!
The Midnight Angels are pushing the revolt:ohhh:

For those who don't know, that's basically the upper echelon of his elite bodyguards.

The last time the Doras turned on T'Challa, he was harboring Namor behind the Wakandans' back while they were at war with Atlantis.

wtf did he do now?:damn:

I was hoping people who worked on Winter Soldier would be a part of this movie :blessed: The fight choreography, cinematography, and writing is better for Black Panther with a more realistic approach and cgi if necessary.

Exactly what I was thinking. WS was very grounded and surprisingly realistic considering the characters involved. Plus, that was the first Cap project of any kind that made me actually heavily root for Cap. I was quite indifferent of the character before that.

And indeed, the choreography, the fight scenes, and the writing in general. Top notch. Also gave Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Falcon great showings.

More has been learned about the upcoming Black Panther ongoing series by Ta-Nehesi Coates and Brian Stelfreeze. As seen in this cover to May's Black Panther #2 by Stelfreeze, Wakanda will be in the midst of a full scale revolt by its citizens against T'Challa and the ruling elite. And the revolt is led by some of T'Challa's most trusted allies.

"The darkest chapter of the Black Panther mythos continues as Wakanda crumbles from within. Enter: The Midnight Angels!" reads the second issue's description. "Two mysterious women leading the citizen revolt against the current regime of Wakanda, challenging not only T’Challa’s politics but also his resolve. But will their rage provide more for the people than the royal family has thus far? Written by MacArthur Genius and National Book Award winner TA-NEHISI COATES (Between the World and Me) and illustrated by living legend BRIAN STELFREEZE!"

The Midnight Angels, also known as the Dora Milaje, were established in previous issues to be the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther. They are a elite subdivision of the Dora Milaje, used akin to the U.S. Navy Seals for special missions.

I thought the knife flip was CGI for the longest time. It isn't. :whew:
