Blackest thing in the film....

Either

Shuri clowing Tchalla’s Sandals

Michael b Jordan saying “Hey Auntie” to Angela Basset in the throne room.

Or Angela Bassett without her head wrap in the jungle Revealing the white locs :wow:

Imo, she shyt on Sony for undermining her being the role she was born for as storm.

"how do you think they got them? you think they paid a fair price?"

Loved his character from the moment he appeared on screen. He was every bit a villain but it's hard not to agree with his motivations. Definitely made some valid points, the way he wanted to go about getting there though was against what T'Challa and the Wakandans were all about.

Erik was essentially an American Black, having grown up in the US. The only black outsider in the movie, and they made him crazy. Burning the flowers, emulating CaC colonists..."The sun will never set on the Wakandan Empire" :snoop:
His father was killed by T'Chaka ( his uncle) and he was left an orphan. His motivation was revenge and once he bested T'Challa he wanted no other potential challengers to his throne. He was rightfully angry after being abandoned by his family.

It's uncomfortable to them.

They ain't meant to understand it.

They thought they was getting a run of the mill action movie :umad:

Its uncomfortable to the racist because they don't like when black folks acknowledge their bkackness or their history and oppression.

Now if the movie was filled with black jokes and stereotypes they would have ate it up.

Second fukk them folks cause anyone who has read the comics from the 70s to now know that racial elements always comes up in the black panther comic.

I get he wanted revenge, and he got it. But he also wanted to rule Wakanda and empower Blacks worldwide, but they undercut his message by making him into a crazy man who posed a threat to Wakanda's very survival.

What happens if/when he died had he actually burned all those flowers?

War. He posed a threat to Wakanda regardless of his ambitions because while his intentions were the empowerment of blacks, his way was to wage war rather than work diplomatically. Had he died after burning the flowers, the remaining tribes would've fought for the throne.
