So basically Republicans are afraid to dump Trump. Not surprising.

They created this cult. They need to go down with it.

Unfortunately the country will go down with it too.
It makes sense though in a twisted sense. GOP is all about falling in line.

The last time they cut off a fellow GOPer was Bush Sr for turning against his word and conservative economic principles(reality of the situation and bipartisanship be dam—d).

Trump has kept deregulation and nominating judges. Racism ain’t a dealbreaker for them.

Useless if she’s not on the ticket.
They still ain’t giving a woman that kind of power. But figurehead wise, she gives them cover to attack the liberal agenda as a woman liberals hate.

A lot of suburban women are still socially conservative.

One thing about this poll - the gender gap is HUGE.

That's terrible news for Republicans. Young women HATE Trump and view the GOP as the "anti-women" party.
Is this simply due to the difference in numbers of women compared to men? It’s crazy how women are always a higher percentage.
If elections were national holidays that would help.
It still pisses me off that elementary to high school students get the day off and aren’t of voting but college students have to attend classes but are of voting age.

I think for women those decisions are made one way or the other. This deep in the process she doesn’t have a big enough name to move the needle and most politicians don’t. Even the Obama are primarily there to push turnout at this point.

Republicans are just going to let the chips fall wherever at this point in 2020.

But I do see Haley being the go to conservative face on talk shows in 2021.

The whole Qanon stuff might be the only thing to derail Republicans in the next cycle.

jim jordan just admitted trumps game plan in this hearing :snoop: trump is gonna declare victory on election night no matter what
Trump is going to spread chaos on election night. From November to January will be total chaos. He will pass emergency executive orders. He will say the election was a fraud. The whole #protectthechildren and Qanon fervor that has been sweeping redstate social media is likely a vehicle for priming people to accept commiting acts of violence. Trump will be tweeting inflaming his base and we see waves of right wing violence. Best case scenario he loses handily and we some right wing violence from November to January but Biden is inaugurated. Worst case scenario this happens
Come election day, it will widespread chaos. Reports of machines not working, excessively long lines, voters confused on absentee vs mail in ballots, drop off locations refusing certain ballots due to obscure rules, voters who never got their mail in ballots filling provisional ballots, post offices inundated with ballots without the manpower or machinery to process in a timely fashion.

Nevertheless, the results that do come in paint a clear picture, Biden leading nearly every battleground state, but still, too close too call, or too early to call.

Midnight rolls around without a clear winner. Both campaigns declare victory. Overnight, several more states get decided, and Trump is nearly mathematically eliminated, and Biden re-announces victory, holds a huge rally, and makes his victory speech. At the same time, Trump calls a press conference and calls for an immediate suspension of all votes being tallied in states. Trump declares his admin and The DOJ will be investigating the "rampant fraud" of mail in ballots (without evidence), allegations of ballot box stuffing (without evidence), and in-person voter fraud (without evidence), and that the election cannot be certified until the conclusion of the investigation. When asked, Barr insists it could take "weeks or months."

Days pass, the USPS has been strained to a breaking point. Local post masters demand the ballots received postmark dated by the deadline be counted, but the Trump admin is insisting the results are fake. Trump's penchant for stochastic terrorism are ratcheted up to 11, as he calls for his supporters to arm themselves to "fight back" to keep their country. Local right wing militia groups organize an armed protest for DC, lone wolf domestic terrorists begin attacking USPS workers on their routes, post offices are bombed, and chaos continues.Qanon radical launch an attack and the right wing attacks turn into a full scale guerrilla insurgency.
