political violence ain't the same as a high-level Civil War

If Trump is defeated and the Rs are consistently defeated on a national level several times, the wingnuts and worst of the oligarchs will kneecap it by starting a 3rd further-right party and Dems for worse or better might have the kind of run they had between FDR and Carter (what's called a "realignment").

If the Rs and Trump go all out to cheat and strong arm however and succeed, we are gonna have times (as i said we might from the jump with Trump) which could make the 60s and 70s look like preschool

There is NO WAY states like NY, NJ, CT, VA possibly, and definitely the whole west coast will play along with DC regimes past a certain point yet to be seen - they represent something like 2/3rds or more of the country's GDP and are so much of the population they could grind everything to a standstill; if the port of Long Beach alone decides they're done, you have a battle in the making

From 1932 to 1980, was the highest amounts that the working/middle class gained.

Worth noting...if Trump blatantly cheats to win re-election, Biden won't intercede. Bet on it. The entire gameplan here is Trump destroys faith in our democracy, embarrasses us globally, etc. If he loses, he will not concede and will contest the election. But if he wins via cheating, he is betting on democrats doing "what's best for the country" and not saying anything.

I'm getting rather concerned.

Even if Trump loses that court case, as I expect he will, what's to stop republicans from fukking with drop boxes? Setting them on fire, attacking them, etc. So the next option would be voting by mail, but mail is being slowed to a crawl and there's the possibility that Trump tries to stop ballots from being mailed in October.

If you're voting by mail you need to request your ballot in late August, and send it back before the end of the first week of October. It's very clear they are trying to fukk this up. The problem is that a LOT of people will not listen, no matter how good the education campaign is. They will mail their ballots in late October, or the first day of November and think shyt is sweet.

A lot of people just need to vote in person, man. Take the day off work if you can and just go.

Many states also have early voting. Some way early like a month plus out. But in general a couple weeks before Nov 3.

If I was in a state like WI which is limiting early voting to only 2 weeks... best believe I'd be voting on the first few days.

Dem leaders are spineless cowards.

But the voters are fired up and if shid like that happens again, people will be incensed more than they already are.

Meanwhile Wisconsin is looking into West’s presidential bid in that state after Democratic party members found signatures for “Mickey Mouse” and Bernie Sanders on that state’s ballot.

“If the affidavits are true … crimes were committed by the West campaign,” attorney Michael Maistelman, who gathered the affidavits for the state Democratic Party, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
