I think those were cumulative numbers, I refuse to believe you guys are at 15+ % unemployement.It is said that 328.2 Million people live in the US.
So that's 15% off the bat, but then it rises when you take away kids and seniors who don't work.

You’re right. Rethuglicans aren’t going to count their chickens til results come in. They can only rig so many states or counties.There's absolutely no way the economy recovers before the election, even if a vaccine for Covid-19 comes out tomorrow. I'm not even sure it recovers by the 2022 election.
But abandoning Trump is political suicide for Republicans. They would lose more MAGA voters than they would gain from independents/moderates. At this point they made their bed and have to sleep in it.
They’ll do like they did with the SCOTUS pick and wait for the results to come in. Expect the last two months to have Trump at his golf course not giving a crap about the White House and GOP to slowly start rebuking him. But over the holidays when no one is watching
