Worst part is, he tried to say he was 'joking,' but that's bullshyt because he was saying the same thing weeks ago. When the administration was really pushing states to reopen, they were also pushing the narrative of, "Well, it's no point in increasing testing because you're just gonna need to get tested again later.
" All the while being quick to point out that they were getting around-the-clock testing, which was why they never wore masks in public. 
Of course, is it a little excessive for the average person to get tested every hour on the hour? Probably, but they flat out told you, "We, the elites, can get all the testing we want before we go back to work, but you peasants don't need that shyt." So there is no universe in which he was 'joking' about slowing down testing.
