Biden is making a mistake by deferring to Pelosi on the stimulus. He needs to huddle with Warren+Bernie and offer something bolder, including monthly payments to Americans. Pelosi's bill has plenty of good things in it but needs direct payments to Americans. That has to be top priority. Stabilize regular people.

Also people are forgetting by the time Biden is elected the economy is gonna be really shytty. If Dems win both houses in Congress along with the White House Biden will sign far sweeping economic stimulus. This include a temporary UBI lasting a year, student loan relief, health care for all, aid to the states etc. So progressives could get what they want because Biden will sign anything the Dems pass in Congress to boost the economy. Think the long game.

Just thinking Repubs alone are the cause of our situation is dangerous and lets these sellout Dems off the hook.

Dems have gone right along with Repubs on awful policies that have fukked over the working class (and that includes most black folks no matter if your collar is blue or white) of this country.
