Trump really should be worried. If that 39-41 is his average approval and give him a couple extra for the general, he’s just below where he was to win the electoral college in 2016.

And now seeing how much anti-Clinton was a factor
its actually blowing my mind the last few days how much anti clinton was such a big factor in the last general and primary. it made me think the left has moved a little more to teh progressive end (i think im wrong). but also that the hate was so strong for her they said hey will let this capsule of hate run the country.

from this ive gathered
bernie shouldve done just a little more and he woudl be president now with that same field
biden shouldve ran and it wouldve been a cake walk for him in 2016

Uncertain grounds
Biden may not be as strong ad he appears in these results. There is a solid amount of anti socialism voters that may have boosted bidens support and trump will hit him on iraq nafta and crime bill. I stand by my map that biden wins but its not going to be a cakewalk unless mad people die from this virus

Trump is gonna clown Biden in every regard. Dems shot themselves in the foot, again. I don’t feel like taking a vacation to the bushes so I’ll leave it at that.
should be hard for trump to clown biden when he's running on an economy that the coronavirus has tanked :heh:

he can try, but no one will be impressed

Young progressives do not in anyway see themselves as an extension of the Obama legacy nor do they think that he gets it. There’s a respectful we won’t say anything out loud because he’s black thing but trust me - they feel a way. That sip he took in Flint did him no favors.

Also, only a few psychotic diehards call themselves “Berniecrats.” What you’re all not seeming to realize is that Sanders backers as shown on poll after poll are the most policy-based demographic. In fact, they’re essentially the only demographic voting on policy. The ire at Warren that you guys took as personal was them feeling like she rejected “them,” not him. She is one of the most progressive senators and is considered a hero and an ally and they thought backing Bernie was a hill worth dying on. They feel personally hurt and are straight up confused. She is in no position to deliver Biden any voters and he knows that.

The arguments progressives will make is that you have more of a space to fight under Biden than Trump and he should do nothing to quell that. It’s the argument that I made in 2016 about Hillary and Trump that somehow foresaw this election (but I stopped using my head and went with my heart for a bit there). The left cannot thrive under Republicans because they will be so toxic that everything will coalesce around getting him out. Biden got to run on nothing but getting Trump out. But no one listened to that in 2016 and here we are :manny:
What would you like to see Biden embrace realistically? Also who do you think is the best VP choice for him? I think Obama has had time to sit back and observe what's going on w/ Bernie's movement, enough so that he'll tell Biden to pay attention to it. He can't run a cocky campaign like Hillary.

Biden has been in the lead in most Michigan polls since last year. The NAFTA stuff is baked in at this point.
Before Super Tuesday Biden and Bernie was neck and neck in Michigan. Not sure what you mean by baked in

I’m still wondering on the Sanders supporters question. If he really is the face to many of them or are they really policy based and ready to jump ship to get the policy through.

The fact that with only two progressives in the race they essentially just ate into the margins of each other. Warren rose after Bernie’s heart attack but once he was good she faded.

The Moderates mostly ended up polling where they eventually landed. Low teens. Biden reasserted his lead.

#WriteInBernie is trending #1 right now on Twitter.

God, is this Russia or are there that many cultists in this country who don't understand the consequences of this election?
those are the ones mad at "low information" voters who vote on emotion...yet they're being as emotional and low information as possible. and it's really the whiny professional class followers. no way bernie's working class voters are like "let me sit here" while trump continues to cut entitlements, fights to remove ACA, won't increase the min wage, etc.

MSNBC highlighting that coronavirus is spreading and the GOP are voting on Burisma.

:wow:
Let’s be reality. Are swing voters watching MSNBC? Me thinks not.

Point being that the “left” side of the media machine (as opposed to Fox in the right). Likely isn’t moving the needle much.

im hopeful that obeezy is in his ear. but the one thing about hillary and biden is their privilege shows like a motherfukker. by that i mean they both are soooo unapologetic to the point it disgust me on stuff they should stepback and say hey i was wrong i evolved etc etc.

i would like to see biden talk about bringing healthcare costs down and take a shot at insurers. what do you think they should emprace though? what do you think they can embrace?

when it comes to vp i have no clue who is best i wanna say a women/black women. but idk how that will effect voters.

i had faith that we were ready. but obama had to be "perfect" for voters to look past him color and even then i dont htink it was 100%.

Your expectations for the presidential candidate is that he is able to give a normal speech without fumbling? :mjlol: These are the dnc standards now

Biden is not qualified for the job at this point period. Hard truth but somebody has to say it :whoa:
Im talking about how he will counter the GOP attacks you claim will make him unelectable :childplease:

I understand the optimism on Joe but I think some people are under playing the advantages that any incumbent especially Trump has:

He’s never stopped campaigning
They have been stacking money left and right which helps with organizing
All of the things we have essentially hated him for have been normalized.
Voter suppression on 1000

Joe just showing up and being not Trump ain’t enough across the board.
