From the tattoo Mike drew him that the hitters had. He recognized it, Bolsa probably used them before
Gus has been in the game for a long time, he probably knows every gang and cartel in South America. When u need a hit, your going to call somebody u trust, obviously bolsa called some Columbians he’s used before

Still seems like a bit of a leap. Why would they assume they use the same hitmen every time

Mike said he recognized them as a Colombian gang. The cartel has been affiliated with the Colombians since that Gus flash back in season 4 of "BB".

It wouldn't make any sense for the Colombians, who the cartel is working with, to fukk with a cartel operation unless a cartel member gave the OK.

Couple that with the fact that Juan Bolsa said "so all your troubles are over, the fire, and the police?" directly after they discussed Lalo....Bolsa knew Lalo was the one fukking everything up.

now this was an amazing episode. tbh Saul is an idiot. he doesn't deserve Kim at all. you have the quessential ride or die woman fukking wifed up and its not finna end well :mjcry: all he has to do is let go of that ego and not take Lalos money. kinda funny how his ego is completely crushed this episode. he loses even the shytty cases in court and only Wexler saves Goodman's ass this time.

does Lalo connect Mike being the reason Tuco is in jail to Mike Gus' right hand ? :lupe:

low key Lalo is by far the most terrifying Salamanca. twins are a bit caricature-like. tuco is a hothead. Lalos terrifying with his demeanor and charisma :wow:

would Mike really pull the trigger on Lalo tho if shyt went down ? Gus said anything happens to Lalo on American soil, it would mean war. Not sure Gus would be willing to risk all that for Saul.

Ironically it is Gus who is plotting to bring down the cartel, bolsa wasn’t smart enough to read chicken man correctly while Lalo was. Difference between Stringer Bell and Avon - I want them damn corners! Lalo gets it.

Rewatching BB here and couldn’t help but to wonder what Saul was on about in s2 ep8 when a masked Jesse and Walt kidnap Saul and take him to a mine site in the middle of the night and threaten to kill him if he doesn’t accept their bribe geared towards handling Badger’s DEA case, anyway Saul is scared and tied up and trying to understand who the two are and he says it wasn’t him it was Ignacio and then asks if it was Lalo that sent them, Jesse and Walt have no idea what Goodman’s talking about then they go on to discuss Badger’s case.

Anyway is this linked at all to something happening in this season still of Better Call Saul or even possibly next season?

I do not think Mike was aiming at Lalo at all. He was using the scope to see what's going on and listening in to see if Saul was going to snitch.

If ANYTHING he was aiming to take out Saul had he told the truth and tell Lalo about Mike even being there.
