False.
The quickest way would be reparations.

I’d wager criminal justice reform would beat out cancelling student loan debt as well.
Criminal justice reform would not. You would put people out there without jobs. You should still do it bye. Reparations isn’t the quickest way because it would take a long time to calculate and allocate. Sanders student debt cancellation program would cancel all debt within 6 months.

Not to mention debt cancellation has a way more realistic chance of actually being implemented. Cacs aren't trying to give black people money, but debt cancellation benefits them too since many of them are also struggling with student loans.

"When you say #cancelstudentdebt, you’re saying a minority of people who had the advantage of obtaining a degree should have their debt paid off by hardworking taxpayers, 2/3 of whom don’t have degrees themselves, or already paid their own student debt off.

This is immoral."

Republican lawmaker: Plan to #CancelStudentDebt 'is immoral'
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) called a proposed plan by Democrats to cancel student is "immoral" Tuesday, and said it places a burden on taxpayers who did not attend college.

Crenshaw is a total idiot who thinks that doctors that do house calls or don't accept insurance will save the health system :why:

He is a special kind of stupid

Fastest? Nah.

Reparations ain't getting passed anytime in the near future and criminal justice reform takes a long time to translate into wealth. All three are important but student loan forgiveness is definitely the fastest.

I'm beginning to think that Bernie may have peaked, and not in a bad way.

He's the radical that said stuff no one was willing to say in 2016. He changed the entire conversation. Back then there was just one Bernie, now it feels like everyone other than Biden is defined by how many of Bernie's ideas they're promoting.

At his age, and without the stark choice that he used to be presenting between himself and the establishment, he's not necessarily the best choice for 2020 anymore. I'm not saying he should drop out right now or anything, but I think he might be on a downward trend that's going to last. But if the result of his candidacy is that Warren or Harris or any number of the young up-and-comers is promoting his ideas in the majority of their platform, he'll have done his good work. They just have to finish the job and actually win the damn election.

Yes the candidates have all morphed into Bernie clones making it harder for his usual stuff to stand out. The only thing he has clear differences on at the moment is foreign policy which is good. To me, these candidates are full of shyt on Bernie's policies and are gonna have their cabinets picked by CAP.

It doesn't help that there are 10 candidates on the stage as well. He was fine and I think he'll do better when there's less candidates

People in the debate thread were clowning Bernie for talking about rallying millions of people to fight to support these domestic plans..... Medicare for all will be one of the hardest struggles in legislative history. It's not a thing that can only be passed by sitting at a roundtable with business leaders and finding "the most efficient plan". it's about rallying people, pressuring these ghouls at the top and Bernie is the only one I trust to do that

I think it just shows how phony they all are. Bernie been on the Progressive wave for his entire political life and they changed to it less than 5 years ago. Not convinced they mean it or will fight for it. They are just being typical politicians and saying what they think will help them win. I don't believe most of them, Bernie has the conviction behind his words.
