It’s sad a lot of Liz supporters are this.
dude was a outspoken bigot/mega trump supporter and now he's a regular ole registered democratLook at this turncoat always all up in our thread....posting.
Went from the biggest Bernie Stan in 2016 to constantly trying to rationalize his Biden support.
Are you trying to convince us or convince yourself?
The internet has some of the weirdest people man.dude was a outspoken bigot/mega trump supporter and now he's a regular ole registered democrat
flip flopping must be a Massachusetts thing
And on the Biden thing, I think people are reaching expecting some game changing meltdown.
His handlers aren't stupid. They kept him out of the spotlight and under wraps for the past year for a reason. Outside of him showing up to the next debate drooling over the microphone, and reminiscing about the days he spent fighting in hand-to-hand combat alongside Bruce Lee in Rhodesia to overcome British colonialism, his mental status will not be any issue of any significance during the primary. His campaign isn't gonna try and sabotage a sure thing they got going nowm
Shyt, it barely registered a blip in the mainstream news BEFORE he became the frontrunner.
It’s not a sure thing if Bernie comes with that pressureAnd on the Biden thing, I think people are reaching expecting some game changing meltdown.

I agree. Let me play devil's advocate though.
The issue for them is that Sanders is now using Biden's own words against him in a big TV ad buy across the March 10 and 17 states which I reckon they will use for the rest of the primary.
Biden isn't going to fight back because they conclude that Bernie can't catch him. We gotta focus on Trump, lets unite, etc, etc.
That has a risk because a lot of the votes that Biden got on Super Tuesday... are from people who have been waffling between Liz, Pete, Amy and back and forth. They weren't confident in Joe before.
Shaking confidence in him now is the only card Bernie has to play. And tbh, if the Biden campaign is going to sit back and let Bernie take the narrative, they are playing themselves.
Bernie needs a perfect storm though. His margin of error is gone. But he does have the tools to do what needs to be done.

my comment was also about regular voters. the rhetoric of his campaign didn't/doesn't resonate with me - and probably others who found warren's messaging around fixing corruption and breaking the hold of corporatism to be more appealing. to me, that revolution/rage against the machine rhetoric has a cap, it worked for trump only because the republican alternatives refused to consolidate. to me, seems great to have that as your message in the three years followin the 2016 run to keep you base engaged, but at some point you have to broaden it to pull in folks who'd prefer "let's fix it" to "let's tear it down"Can't speak for anyone else, but I knew that for Bernie the real solution was for him to bring in new voters into the primaries and somewhat keep it close. I never thought even when turning down the anti-establishment rhetoric that he was going to get a endorsement from the veteran black congresspersons.
This is what I keep saying. It might be late enough that Hide the Biden works as a campaign strategy for the primary, but it's not gonna hold in a general when people are paying closer attention. That leaves us hoping for Negative Partisanship toward Trump to bail us out because Biden's brain turning to mush on camera is such a threat, he's not even campaigning...how do you inspire turnout without making appearances?
Also, Bernie should lean in hard on "we need to debate and speak to the people so they know what their choice is between" messaging. Force Biden to come out and actually speak.

I don't want to douse the flame of hope that any brehs may still have. And I acknowledge that technically and mathematically speaking, Bernie does still have a fighting chance.
But Biden's brain imploding on itself? A few weeks of TV ads? Liz dropping out? I mean........
You're dead on saying that there is zero margin of error.
Biden just has to run out the clock, up two scores, with home field advantage and under two minutes to play. Bernie has no timeouts, down to practice squad receivers, and the referees didn't seem to appreciate the fact that he didn't know the lyrics to "Goin' Up Yonder".
So they just gave Biden another 15 yards and an automatic first down before the ball was even snapped.
Challenge him to push ups like he did that big Warren supporter in Iowa who questioned him on Ukrainegate
