so breh it's cool and all that you're riding with Young Bernie but you've been here since 2012 posting about Eminem and had nothing to say about politics until yesterday

I've been posting/lurking here since thecoli was the sohh forum
i don't listen to hip hop as much these days .. i'm an old man by the coli's standards (early/mid 30s) but i was a big fan of eminem back during his 1998-2002 run but he's been trash since.

i still browse the site to see whats hot, and over the last 5 years or so i've gotten heavily into politics, history, economics, etc. so i thought i would see what the community was feeling regarding the democratic primary candidates

I don't think so (in terms of the age thing) tbh, but it would definitely have folks shytting bricks. The outcry from Wall Street would be a thing of beauty though. Probably be a younger woman of color being considered in both camps is my guess tho.

Bernie Sanders is the most popular senator/politician in america with tons of energy behind him. He has to register as a democrat to run as a democrat but he's been an "independent" his entire political career and is officially an independent as senator of Vermont.

Of course the democratic party is going to try "claim" him or plaster his face on their website or whatever. He's dabbled in the democratic party in recent years to run for president but is otherwise an outsider/adversary to 95% of the party (the progressive left caucus of the party--like 5 people--vigorously support him though)
