Since we know that Bernie is going to win the nomination,:blessed:, who could be a good VP?:patrice:
Warren is out of the question. As much as I like her, she is not a good pick, because she is too close to Bernie when it comes to policies.

He said his preference leans toward a strong female progressive, possibly a person of color.

Warren is out and should stay in the senate. And the notion that we should prioritize grabbing a centrist/moderate for votes is fukking stupid IMO. This is not a stop-gap, this is a movement that needs continuity of message being carried by someone who is going to continue his legacy and not let this movement die down after his term is up.

And before nikkas hit me with that "she's inexperienced!" she has more experience in government than Trump before he got elected. If Dan Quail can be VP she sure as hell can.

If it's about reaching out to a demographic, The first female vice president is a BLACK woman, that's a historical event for two different reasons.
If it's concerning continuity with strong progressive values, he has the most effective surrogate in this race on his side in place with his team and his vision on deck who wasn't picked purely for optics.

I could easily see her running after Bernie with the movement fully in tact to make history again.

I like Nina, she's from my city so I want the best for her, but she could be too hardcore for some voters.

Nina is gonna be Chief of Staff.

VP will go to someone like Barbara Lee. I'm convinced that's who Bernie is going to pick if he wins.

Chief of Staff would be Faiz Shakir. Nina would probably be press secretary.

:wow: HELLO SOMEBODY :wow:

Which is weird because Barbara Lee endorsed Kamala
true :patrice:

I also forget she's only 5 years younger than Bernie :damn:

But I think she as a black woman with a good enough record will help solidify the black vote for Bernie

I will follow Nina Turner to the ends of the earth, dawg. That is my woman. Every now and then she goes too hard when she should bite her tongue but I also love that about her. Hope I can meet her if/when she comes back to Ohio with Bernie.
