The emphasis on executive/non-Congressional action in these plans is a fantastic development from BernieSo for those keeping score Bernie's released fairly detailed plans (Certain Warren heads would be losing their minds amping em) for:
- Criminal Justice Reform - Bernie Sanders’s criminal justice reform plan, explained
- Empowering the Labor Movement - Bernie Sanders’s ambitious plan to double union membership, explained
- Green New Deal - How Bernie Sanders would address climate change
And his M4A bill that some journalists tried to claim he'd altered is still perfectly in tact.
- Fact check: Did Bernie just backtrack on Medicare for All?
So if you care about reading policies and looking into the details, it's been a really good couple of weeks for Bernie. He's pushed out ambitious proposals that all give power to the electorate rather than the donors. I really feel like unbiased coverage of these bills would turn a lot of voters out; but they tried to twist the labor plan into an attack on his M4A bill...so I don't expect much fair coverage and they'll probably downplay the fact that he went deep on detail with a lot of this (which bothers me because the detailed policy thing is a valid reason to like Warren but Bernie doesn't get his due when he does the same).
