The Truth
I've had eczema all my life but it's not to where it's consistant. As soon as I get out the damn shower I itch like a muthafukka:sadcam: I only used the product for a short time that's why I'm not even sure if I developed some sort of sensitivity to something but all I know is it started when I used it.

Same thing happened to me, me and my girl went shopping and me thinking I knew what I was doing and being cheap went and purchased some sort of knockoff shea butter black soap:

But the itching started just as you said, after a short time of using it. :manny:

I probably should've asked her what's best......what did I do wrong here? :lupe:

I don't know if its bad or not...:manny: I tried it because I had heard some folks talking about it, but I never studied up on it, plus I think the one I got may have been a knockoff. I brought one some years back off the allafia site, but had no luck there either...

I would say my skin is sensitive normally yea.....What should I get that's good to use? Give me some ideas, i'll go buy it right now online or hit a store up? :lupe:

In store- I would try Aveeno and natural soap like go to an organic store or African/Jamaican store. Black soap dries my skin out but I balance it was shea and oils.

I suggest those stores because like major and chain stores things that say organic still aren't truly organic. You should do some research then try to find a vendor in your area if you find something. Some sites also send sample sizes too if you want to try before you buy a large qty.

I think that was part of my mistake, hence why I said "knockoff" They have the name of the soap/oils ect, but its not really the real thing.......

I picked up shea moisture african black soap up about 5 or 6 months ago. And my eczema has been going nuts on me. Even after I stopped using it. I'm not sure if it's the soap or the water but I noticed it when I used their black soap line :mjcry:
use more moisturizer. Black soap can dry the skin a bit, which can cause eczema to flare. After washing your face with black soap, don't forget to moisturize.

Up until recently I never really took good care of my skin. Like using a toner, moisturizer, etc. Id just wash my face wit soap and ware but a few months ago I started and oh my god. I get so many compliments at work from co workers and customers on how good my skin looks.

I don't have a ton of money to spend on face care products so this is what I use that I found works good

This has been my daily regime for the past 2 months or so

1.Wipe my face with Neutrogena make up remover wipes to remove make up
2. Wipe my face with Witch Hazel
3. Wash my face with Neutrogena deep invigorating facial scrub
4. Splash on cold water then use about a dime size of Olay night restoring facial moisturizing cream

Since I've stsrted this routine my skin feels and looks so much better. I don't break out or get pimples really at all. I used to break out bsd when Id get my period and now I dont.

Also Fit Me is the best drug store brand cover up. It's only like 8 bucks at Publix or CVS. It has good coverage but doesn't feel heavy at all.

Moisturizing skin is essential. Regular moisturizing is probably the best defense against premature aging.
