TDM match helps keep your aiming and gun reflexes up to speed...if you a mop in TDM you probably getting bodied in all the game modes.

lets just play TDM within a small ass fraction of the map instead

I prefer BF3 over COD but to keep it completely 100...COD does close quarter combat a thousand times better, if that's what u soley want in a game.

The CQC maps on here are piff breh. I'm willing to bet that if Dice wanted to beat COD at CQC shyt they could.

Battlefield 3 to Have Double XP Event this Coming Weekend

If you're one of the many people who hate Battlefield 3's "carrot-on-a-stick" scheme of leveling up, then do we have good news for you. DICE has announced that they're conducting a double XP event this coming weekend and it will be on all platforms.

The event will be available on all maps and all modes as long as it's a ranked server. Oh, and you don't need to be Battlefield Premium member either!

Here's the handy-dandy FAQ on platforms, times and whatnot.

What: Double XP event to celebrate the launch of Battlefield 3: Close Quarters
When: 00:01 AM PDT June 16th – 11:59 PM PDT June 17th
Formats: All
Criteria: All players, both Premium and non-Premium members
Servers: Any ranked server
Game modes: Any
Maps: Any (including base game, Back to Karkand, and Close Quarters)
What: Double everything!
