Think of it like this. This iPhone came out 2 months late and if you try to buy now it's another month wait. In 9 months from when you can get it the phone will likely be replaced with a new model.

Just finished setting it up not too long ago and I'm loving it so far. I'm coming from a 7 Plus and a 6S Plus before that and it's perfect size-wise for me. I've always wanted an iPhone with a larger display than the 6 but in a smaller overall footprint than the Plus and this fits that perfectly.

Preordering was basically a waste of time for me though. I preordered a 256gb space gray Verizon model that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but FedEx decided this would be the weekend they hit me with a and my phone got delayed without warning. I thought they'd deliver it today since it was in Queens at the sorting facility it usually goes to before they put it on a truck for delivery last night. Instead, they sent it back to Jersey for the third time

Luckily, I checked the Apple store app this morning and they had the exact model I preordered available for pickup at a local store, so I jumped on it. I'm gonna just return the phone I preordered whenever FedEx decides to deliver it.

I suggest checking either apple.com or the Apple Store app Monday morning around 8 or 9. Stores get shipments of product everyday except Sunday, so your best chance is to just check online every morning to see if any nearby stores have any available for pickup. I'd also strongly recommend setting up Apple Pay if you haven't. Once I saw the local store had it and put in my carrier info, it was just a few taps to finish checkout.

Why can’t anyone answear this one simple question

So far it’s not as good as my s8 was which I could get about 9 hours out of with constant use.

Also seems to take way longer to charge
