They released the 11.2 beta for the X.

This face ID is nice. Funny thing is the only time it's failed for me so far is when I went to authorize a download from the app store. Been working great with everything else. So far paypal is the only app that doesn't use face ID and is forcing me to use a password.

Are you sure it’s not updating as well. I had to update to iOS 11.1 then restore. But I did the restore by placing my old phone next to my new phone. Not through iTunes

I had to restore through iCloud to get my text history in addition to placing my phone by the old one

I like it but I love my rose gold 6 s plus and I’m having a hard time resetting it to either sell or send back to att

The lack of real estate up top means it took me forever to remember that I had do not disturb turned on since the symbol isn't displayed anymore. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting text notifications
And the irritation with the notch was greatly exaggerated. I don't even notice it. It's far from being an eyesore.

Oh yea, if you’re coming from a 6 or 6s. The speakers on this thing are WAY louder. No longer have to hold the phone close to my ear on speaker phone due to the two speakers at the bottoms and using the ear piece for a speaker as well.

Bout damn time they put some stereo speakers into these things

I saw the a video of the IPhone 8 plus video and the audio that was on that video from that recording was EMBARASSING compared to the Note 8 and Pixel 2. I couldn't believe it. How is the audio from videos you record with the X?

Havent recorded a video yet. But it's probably the same as the 8. They share the same basics aside from a few things.

Haven't had it a full day so I can't really say. Off top it seemed to be better than my 7 plus. Came home with about 34% left compared to usually under 20%

Make sure your connected to wifi and turn off find my iPhone and if you still can’t you cant erase you can go through iCloud.com to remove device / erase it
