So how do you think african people will be liberated? Because according to Yvette we are helpless people who need white daddy to fix our problem and self determination is impossible. Yes, government needs to redistribute wealth. But we need to do more than survive (i.e. living foot to mouth) in the meantime.
More than that, if we wait (until after reparations) to enhance our financial literacy (beyond survival), then the mainstream will be there waiting to eat off of us...as they do now. Meaning, their businesses & creations will be waiting to take all the dollars from this reparations package. We need to be financially literate and ready before reparations so we can circulate the dollars in the black community for as long as possible!

The answer to bold is because there is no "community" in the way people try to make it seem. That's the same for every race too. You got people you agree with and those you disagree with. When you disagree you going to argue, beef, etc with each other. Don't mean you necessarily want them to fail either but I don't we will ever have any black monolithic plan we all can agree with. Jews had America and then Israel to run to as they had extremely successful people in America already and America wasn't a religious system but a racial one and they are of the white race. That's my point. They built up allies outside of the nazi system. We need to do the same while also building ourselves up so we can actually leverage our economy with public policy. No it was because the USA wanted to piss off the Chinese because they are communist and helped started the Korean War, so they banned the Chinese.
Koreans asked their government...to ban hair from being imported anywhere else. Which gave Koreans a monopoly in their own country, which in turn gave them a monopoly in the USA.
Korean government did what was best for Korea. USA government did what was best for USA and in turn what was best for their ally, South Korea.
Governments install protectionist policies all the time when they are a neophyte economy which Korea was at that time. Governments punish opposing governments all the time economically.
This was just a synergy of interests...
Korean merchants didn't hold that much sway.
