I'm not excited about this at all. Then again, I wasn't excited about Guardians either, and I ended up liking that.

I'm not sure about this one either. Most of the appeal came from Edgar Wright being involved and the fact that an Ant-Man movie does have a lot of potential if done right. But with Wright leaving I fear everything that would make it original has been cut/changed so it will end up like one of Marvel's many other cookie cutter formula movies.

Couldn't have said it better...With Wright, it would have been more edgier, but that may be gone now

I'm still not sure if this will be any good, but the "ant-sized" trailer and now this poster have gotten my attention a little bit.

Imagine they still end this movie with a space ship falling on the villain. That would be hilarious actually.

Edgar Wright's technique in a movie about a shrinking, wise cracking superhero would have been the GOAT

they claim there's still a lot of his story elements there, but they brought in a puppet hire to make it work in the universe. thing is, after reading about the Peyton Reed dude, he's a comic head and seems crazy enthusiastic about the job, pair that with the cast and I'm all in on this still. Before you question his resume, James Gunn's movies were pure overrated shyt and he wrote the Scooby Doo's. The Russo Brothers worked on Community... they have the 2 best Marvel movies i think.

plus Adam McKay did a re-write with Paul Rudd. he's also a big comic head, so 2 funny dudes with knowledge of the subject matter can't hurt. i don't know how funny this movie will be though... most of them are funny except Cap really

If Edgar was still involved I'd really be down but it just looks so formulaic and he was the only reason I was looking forward to it. Like it's been said in here,I'm sure the third act will still have a ship crashing into the planet. Or picnic bench crashing into an ant hill
