a real fun ride. that chick playing ghost was sexy
my big thing is at the end credits and the timing of everything was and also why wasn't there any news on thanos destroying the world or any intel on wakanda. That's kinda not realistic. the avengers would've gotten all the help they could get including ant man to to go wakanada.
Am I the only one who felt this was more of a traditional Disney joint than a Marvel film this time?
3.5/5 enjoyable but nothing special. Was hoping we got more TI. Wasp was dope as shyt. Evangeline Lilly was looking Attractive as shyt but that struggle bathing suit body picture keeps popping up in my head. Definitely looked better than she did in part one. That de-aging tech they using on Douglas is incredible. Ghost was dope but needed more screen time.

In the 2nd end credits we were panning through Scotts neighbourhood and it was a ghost town. Then it went into his house which was empty and there was this emergency alert on the tv
Signifying again that the snap had taken effect.
The reason why nobody got intel on Wakanda is because it's hidden and they don't advertise shyt. Even Nick only found out via energy readings and by the time he tried to do something the snap had taken effect.
that scene had me
but if i'm being honest i feel like alot of the jokes were recycled from the last movie and didn't quite land overall for this flick.
Action was on point. Story was meh, ghost was cool but i think she should have been some scientist former associate with a change of heart and had her partner be the another villian who was on some murder shyt rather than the other way around. The goons trying to fukk with wasp were completely to me. May as well have just let that be the FBI the whole time if you need faceless goons for punching bags. I don't understand why he kept using the malfunctioning suit after he got his old suit back did i miss something? The wasp was flame Her and Antman tag team against ghost at the end was cool. His daughter can't act, and i even caught her looking directly into the camera once by mistake
But she's been recasted for the next antman movie with a 16 year old. So timejump brehs
Need more MCU ties in it tbh i know some of yall hate that, but for me, what's the point of an interconnected universe if the movie doesn't interconnect? The fade to ash at the end qualifies i guess, but why wasn't there in news broadcast about aliens invading New York again prior to that? A giant floating wheel in the biggest city in the US doesn't get noticed, but the FBI immediately see news of a giant man on a ferry? That said, i liked how they explained antman's absence. Cap, widow, Vision and falcon can go on the run as outlaws because they all don't have any family. Hawkeye and Antman have to cooperate and do probation/house arrest because they can't be dragging their kids along for the ride. So it makes sense they arent in infinity war to me now. 3.5 out of 5

They still did, just had her in the murder role, and Fishburn in the remorse role. I think it would've worked better if they switched motivations and characterizations is all. In my opinion it would have made her less one dimensional and less boring.
I must have missed the part where they broke the suit, i thought they just needed to use it for tracking the lab, but it would still work fine after that. They kept making jokes about not destroying his crown achievement only to destroy it? This is my point about some of their humor obscuring their motivations and not landing.

The movie would just have another yellow jacket which is why the professor turned her away from killing people and trying to kidnap Cassie. That's a cliche path.

I know but that would've just been to much teasing because we know just hearing about it wouldn't result to any interference from ant-man. That's why it was better to show the after effects of infinity war in the end because then we know he's going to do something now.

Apparently it didn't.

The movie did have another yellow jacket.
How is it cliche or similiar to YellowJacket if they made her more remorseful and less murdery instead of the professor?
My problem is that they did make her like yellowjacket, with everything from being mentally unstable down to wanting to go after antmans kid to lure antman.
They did take the cliched path for 90% of the movie.
