I was JUST thinking about doing that the other day...did you do something wrong in the process?

Yeah, I didn't read the part where you can't load up an official Asus rom after you unlock the bootloader. I tried to downgrade the rom I had on there since the latest version won't allow you to root it. Ever since that day, that shyt has been stuck on the boot screen.

I've been getting some help from a few people over at XDA, so i'll have that shyt running eventually. I don't think i'm gonna bother modding it too much once I get it going though. That's what the Galaxy Nexus is for :takedat:

For the extra $50 its not worth in imo, I'm gonna get the 16gb version & buy a 32gb memory card for $20.
I figure if I'm gonna reup for 24 months, I'm gonna get the best phone out there. If i'm stuck with this phone for 2 years, I want the best version. Plus I'll be using the camera alot and downloading stuff once LTE rolls out.

If you want to throw your worries about storage for your phone in the bushes, cop a 64GB card.

That's what I did. Already have a 32 gig card laying around so it was an easy decision. Ordered this morning.

Not sure if I'll keep it over the nexus though. I'm going to give it a trial run anyways. I'm hooked on these on screen buttons and aokp.

I thought the current Android phones can only hold 32 GB cards? That's all my Transformer Prime and old G2x could handle.

You are correct, I don't know what these dudes talmbout 64GB microSD cards for.

Not true.

The EVO3D and the LTE can handle a 64SD Card. There's threads on XDA with pics and everything.
