samsung s7 SM-G930. IDK how to tell if its an international model. But its a verizon phone that works perfectly out here in africa.

I want to install a custom kernel and im wondering if i need root access to do that.

since its a verizon branded s7 that means your actual model number is SM-G930V

Verizon is notorious for locking down their phones and the S7 is no different with a locked bootloader.

no unsigned(by samsung) kernels can flashed on that model.

Tried taking screenshots, the shyt doesn't end breh. It's like a 1000 apps

run these commands and post the results separately.

adb shell pm list packages -e

Filter to only show enabled packages.

adb shell pm list packages -s

Filter to only show system packages.

adb shell pm list packages -3

Filter to only show third party packages.

If u have any issues u can use

Package Disabler pro

package disabler | Bloat Killer

U can disable anything
And it has a setting to disable all bloatwear
So u don't have to figure out what is what

And it has setting to tell u what is the function of what u want to disable and if it is essential or not

Yes. I'm pretty sure this is a native feature in all the newer Droid OS's but I personally believe "Persist" is a better app to use for this. It's a little more comprehensive. You can add sound profile shortcuts to your home screen and change it back and forth...or automatically go into effect when your in a specified area.
