Really though I don't think anyone keeps a phone. Most of the people are dead so who you going to call? Id bet phones were responsible for tons of people dying in the beginning so they got trashed. At some point it becomes just a bad flashlight.

Use a recorder app to record the hearing aid sound to play anytime a monster come around.
