Didnt the ref in booth say he was covered up and it was multiple penalties and they could pick any of three? I think people hung up on the reporting and not him being covered up..

It was multiple violation on that play.

It wouldn't be a Lions Cowboys game is the Lions didn't get screwed somehow.
The official reason given was 68 didn't report. They were asked about it at the press conference and stuck by that. The national broadcast showed him attempting to report with even the commentator Aikman calling it out and turns out the ref didn't acknowledging it then in the press conference they said well that's the player's fault. What they didn't say was we picked a violation from a hat and if it wasn't that one it would have been something else. When they announced why the play was negated they didn't even say there were multiple violations on the play. How you get screwed when you committed multiple violation on that play?

Lions' controversial penalty on 2-point conversion leads to a Cowboys win
The Lions seemed to have taken a late lead over Dallas.sports.yahoo.com
This nikka 2 hours late.Breh, it was illegal formation anyway.
One of the flags was for illegal formation.
The receiver was clearly lined up over the lineman.
Are y'all really this goofy?

The whole world now knows that the illegal formation shyt was wrong and the booth ref fukked that up . ESPN,former players been cleared that up .
The ref goofed the call. Skipper didn't need to report as the ref said because the play wasn't for him to begin with. It was for Decker who walked right up in the ref's face. I guess he said nothing? Meanwhile Skipper is way back. The flag was thrown for an illegal formation because they confused who reported.Breh, it was illegal formation anyway.

"On this particular play, (Skipper), who had reported during the game a couple of times, reported to me as eligible. Then he lined up at the tackle position, so, actually, he didn't have to report at all," Allen said.
Adding to the confusion was the fact two flags were thrown on the play. Allen said that there was an additional flag thrown for an illegal formation because Skipper reported as eligible while being covered on the line of scrimmage, though the second infraction in itself seems to indicate the possibility that Allen had, in fact, gotten his signals crossed.
An interaction shown on the broadcast between quarterback Jared Goff and Decker prior to the play seems to confirm the Lions' side of the story. Goff can be seen telling Decker to go over to the official, where Decker can then be seen having a conversation with the official as Skipper runs on.

Lions deny wrongdoing on controversial play vs. Cowboys; ref Brad Allen doubles down
Lions coach Dan Campbell said postgame that he did inform the officials pregame that the two-point conversion play could be coming.www.detroitnews.com
At worse what could be said is the Lions ran a trick play that confused a ref who made assumptions and wasn't paying full attention to they confused their way to a loss.
Decker was the TE in that formation. Reynolds was behind him. It was legal formation. Just dumbass ref not paying attention and assuming shyt. Then blatantly lying after the fact.Even if he reported.
One receiver has to always be lined up a full step behind the other receiver. He was never lined up a full step behind.
Also, where is the same energy for the bogus tripping call?

The receiver still have to be a full step behind. Only 2 TE can be lined up next to eachother "on the line of scrimmage".
Legal formation. Stop playing stupid. What the ref said in report makes zero sense.
