He’s 30 but I’m open minded
They don't have a big, "go up and get it" WR and Holmes kept that cap space for a reason. I'd be thrilled if they added Evans.
Don't miss him and his wife at all.
She's been doing this for a long time. Either, she has his blessing to say this stuff or he's speaking through her. If he wanted her to stop, she would have.Man the problem is his wife. What you doing sharing pillow talk for your podcast nobody listens too.
I'd be pissed if I was Matt cuz now I gotta deal with this in the locker room

I thought they would carry one extra rb at least, that probaly changes, and Melifonwu and both Okwaras are a suprise
I'm hoping they actually go and sign a back that's recently been released for rb3. I've never been impressed with Reynolds as a backup. There's gotta be better out there.Looks like they're bringing Craig Reynolds back as RB3 but are waiting for tomorrow afternoon, which is the deadline for adding players to IR. Players you add to IR have to be on the roster currently so I'm guessing there are a couple guys who will be shifted there to free up slots. Ifeatu Melifonwu is injured, and Julian Okwara is injured too. Putting them on IR would free up a slot for Reynolds. And we'd still have one more slot to add somebody.
The other big news is that Emmanuel Moseley was officially added from the PUP list. He hasn't practiced so I'm guessing he won't play in week 1. Could see him in week 2.
I'm afraid. These are the Lions. Most of my life this team has been hapless. The media all over them is frightening.
Caldwell had some good teams. This isn't the first time there have been expectations.Naw, we are entering our winning time. It’s starting now.
He had one good team (2014), which fell apart after Suh left. We never had a deep team with Mayhew and it hurt Caldwell, resulting in a lot of mediocre seasons. Stafford heroics got us to 9 wins a couple times after that, but those teams were not good.Caldwell had some good teams. This isn't the first time there have been expectations.
I think they're beating the Chiefs on opening night. In fact, I'm gonna make a thread saying that and stake my questionable name to it.He had one good team (2014), which fell apart after Suh left. I feel like the current front office has built the type of complete team we thought/hoped we had that year. Remember that d-line was good but was pretty sparse outside of the starters. Only had one good DE. And yet we overperformed in large part due to just how great Suh was. The secondary had less depth in 2014 too. LB room was damn good. I think the offense is better now than it was then, due to more balance (run game, better o-line, better OC).
I feel good. We already passed the first test, which we failed last year: getting out of the offseason fully healthy. Last year we were missing key d-lineman going into the season, and the quick injuries we got early (Cominsky, Charles Harris) depleted us. This time we're loaded and healthy. Not expecting this team to stop Mahomes next week, but after the first couple weeks (KC, Seattle) we won't be facing many explosive offenses. I feel good.
