they made GOW in 2.5 years
people always focus on the time it took them to build the engine from scratch which extended the entire development to 5 years
if the game is nearly done, they are going to spend these last months polishing
after nearly 4 years, I assume it is
if it gets delayed to 22 not surprising because of COVID

It's now only a wk from RE8 for now. I already decided to hold off on it, but I could see that affecting some folks who were on both day 1

Hmm yeah, thats unfortunate. They are really piling on these may release dates. I think I’m just gonna stick with Deathloop
And Nier Replicant comes out a week before that. Yikes
And May used to be a wasteland until Red Dead came out. It was easy to go outside coming up when there weren’t any games out anyway

COVID has ruined everything
If it weren't for COVID, maybe some of the unannounced 2022 titles could have made 2021 too

Watch everything get delayed and we're left with TLOU2 multiplayer and a MGS remake
Sony is going to feel some type of way watching the XSX get Halo Infinite and some other exclusives this fall while they have nothing
Hopefully at least Horizon makes it

You think whats happening to sony is happening in a bubble? If sony games are getting delayed theres a good chance Halo and other MS games are getting delayed.
Also I’d trade every upcoming game (aside from R&C) for a MGS remake
