This whole racial wealth gap shyt in regards to student loan debt is retarded

Rich kids don’t have student loan debt :stopitslime: And if they do it’s an amount they can wipe away with a pen . That loan debt ain’t hindering them

nikkas got white folk on their mind so much they’re not thinking straight

Both Warrens and Bernie’s plan doesn’t target only black peoples debt ..Everyone shyt is cancelled. White ,Black,Indian. It don’t matter. What the hell are y’all even arguing about :stopitslime:

:mjlol: at dudes in here military strategizing like nuclear war is some schoolyard fight

The whole point of taking the first strike off the table is reducing the anxiety and fears of nations that aren't American, and build towards a more peaceful world. Imagine being North Korea or Gaddafi's Libya or Iran right now. America basically has a loaded gun pointed in the faces of whoever it chooses to be the enemy of the hour. That's not a real peace, that's a forced stalemate. Nuclear disarmament (word to Bullock :mjlol:) will never happen with an American first strike on the table. Liz is absolutely right on this.
a forced stalemate IS peace :francis: this peace love and harmony shyt is not real. never was, never will be. the only people who think otherwise either got shortchanged in history classes or are not trying to acknowledge the inherent violence, opportunism, and overall ambivalence the world as a whole has for prolonged conflicts between leading militaries

"if you attack our neighbor, we will nuke you" :hubie: this is called peace whether people want to admit it or not. overwhelming threat of force is the greatest deterrent in history and the nuclear threat is the greatest ever made

because of nuclear weapons, every standing military in the world is held hostage by the possibility of nuclear annihilation of all parties. that's not some beautiful hand holding shyt, but it is what's kept the world away from conventional warfare from the nation heavyweights

people have no idea how good they got it living in this era...

Nobody who seriously thinks/researches about nuclear policy thinks first strike is a good idea. These dudes think Warren came up with this idea from thin air.

I remember playing Civilization 2 as a kid, and once nuclear technology and weaponry is discovered it's such a game changer.

Even if you're at war with a nation, using nuclear weapons ran the risk of every other nation flipping and declaring war on you. Too much global destruction potential to make readily available preemptively

Amy K really is a sleeper. She's not my type...but don't underestimate her appeal...
I had her at 3 for a reason. She had more sensible and realistic shyt than mostly everyone up there. Warren like Trump will fight for her shyt and the people will force her on you.

Williamson had the best Black package and obvious the best anti white supremacy package. But she got no foreign relations experience like Trump. She just got a hell of a battle getting the nation to see what she says and I think should happen.

Warren to me is the best candidate but the party will go to the choice of the establishment and I expect Biden to win

thecoli's overall lack of being able to understand the big picture really saddens me.

Being able to put all of these students of color into the professional workforce without tearing away any hope of building any kind of wealth will have a long term positive impact for people of color.

To take this even further, this is a 2019 report of various statistics of employment and college graduates from the National Center of Education Statistics

https://nces.ed.gov/pubs2019/2019241.pdf

If you just look at the statistic of 'median months from enrollment to bachelors degree completion' you will see that the median for black students is 64 months vs. 52 for their white counterparts. That is a difference of an entire year on average for black students, so black undergrads alone are incurring an additional 1 year of tuition and potential loans and we have people who feel like erasing the student loan debt benefits whites more :mjtf:

Your point? Cancel that debt and lift the burden from black borrowers, who statistically have a harder time paying them back than white borrowers.

He wouldn't run against Cruz. The other Senate seat in Texas is up for election (John Cornyn). He's arguably just as or a bigger piece of shyt than Ted Cruz too. Beto would most likely stomp him in an election.

Either way he'd do more good at this point by running for office in Texas instead of for President.

Even if he didn't win the downballot effect would make it worthwhile. He might not have beaten Cruz but boosted Dem turnout in Texas enough to get several other Dems elected in swing districts.
