If you just look at the statistic of 'median months from enrollment to bachelors degree completion' you will see that the median for black students is 64 months vs. 52 for their white counterparts. That is a difference of an entire year on average for black students, so black undergrads alone are incurring an additional 1 year of tuition and potential loans and we have people who feel like erasing the student loan debt benefits whites more
