Do you honestly think that black people are more crippled by student loan debt than white people?

I'm not gonna go digging for numbers, but I'm sure the college attendance rate is considerably lower among blacks than whites, and the dropout rate is noticeably higher. So who really will see more debt relief?

Of course wealthy people may not have college debt but working and middle class white America still outnumber us by far

berniebots cant admit this :yeshrug:

:blessed: this is what it really comes down to. Biden is going to be the nominee, so everyone should be auditioning to be his VP.
:childplease: Look at the history of poll leaders this early in the primary for past three decades. Biden’s lead is entirely based on name recognition and will get tested severely as the field tightens.

He's completely washed from what I saw. It's over.
I mean he's just losing his grip on any point he trots out and his fans just play it up and act like nothings wrong.

Don't tell me presentation and image matters while ignoring that Bernie...just looks ridiculous about everything.

these idiots are listening to right-wing media and reading right-wing news, andonevenknowit

the vast majority of student dept is held by white people, not really sure what you are arguing here. We can make college more affordable but we not giving the richest people a literally handout no thx.

Bernie has become a one trick pony with healthcare. He should have stuck with the 99% angle. It's what this country truly needs at this point anyways.
Bernie did better but he is taking a MASSIVE L so far throughout this whole entire process...

He is going to be a good litmus test though to see just how strong the ADOS movement is because he is doing everything he can to distance himself from reparations...lets see them punish him at the polls for it...

Bernie and Biden should be running away with this and neither one of them have really gotten in the game yet...

Bernie is polling the best of everyone on healthcare. He’s leaning into it.

It's not a race breh, lifting that burden from black borrowers will still benefit them, despite the fact that whites will also benefit.

You can argue its not a race, but that doesn't change the disparate impact of equally canceling the debt.

It provides a larger economic stimulus to white America than black America, which will effectively push black people down further socioeconomically. Especially considering whites will still have easier access to jobs and credit.

Obviously anyone with student loan debt will benefit but the poorest people will benefit the least, and unfortunately that demographic pretty consistently is black America

:mjlol: at dudes in here military strategizing like nuclear war is some schoolyard fight

The whole point of taking the first strike off the table is reducing the anxiety and fears of nations that aren't American, and build towards a more peaceful world. Imagine being North Korea or Gaddafi's Libya or Iran right now. America basically has a loaded gun pointed in the faces of whoever it chooses to be the enemy of the hour. That's not a real peace, that's a forced stalemate. Nuclear disarmament (word to Bullock :mjlol:) will never happen with an American first strike on the table. Liz is absolutely right on this.
