The league is moving on from LeBron slowly but gradually. Yeah some casuals dropped off but all the latest playoff magic occurring plus the headlines and drama still intact still has the league trending and looking towards the future past LeBron.

I agree but you'd be a foolish NBA commissioner to not capitalize on the #2
NBA star of all time playing for the Lakers (especially since LA is trying to re establish itself as a real sports town). For as good as the playoffs has been Lebron moves the needle more than any player in the league.

Breh you can damn near get by without having a coat in NO. Its not warm like Miami or LA but its not really cold....And at this point Lonzo will go where hes moved to it honesrly may be best for him to be traded outside of his home base.

I think it's fixed so that LA has another high pick to include in an AD trade. Then the Lakers get AD and NO can draft Zion and Barrett and have the whole "teamed at Duke" connection to sell.

Nobody cares about this. Especially in New Orleans of all markets. Hell, I'm sure both them nikkas are tired of playing with each other.

Because all that ad and rich Paul bullshyt mid season basically gave the pelicans one of the most toxic locker room situations in nba history

The pelicans will not turn around and reward the lakers for that

Not with the stupid new math. Now it works out that those teams have a good chance of jumping up and the worst teams have the greatest odds of falling down the lottery.

This is supposed to discourage tanking I guess. Only problem is teams that are the bottom because they are genuinely bad and need the help get screwed.

It's been obvious fans and the media don't believe teams can genuinely be bad in the NBA.

I don't think fans care, and I know the players don't give a fukk, but the league cares. ESPN and TNT care. They need something to analyze, speculate in, and talk about, and the league would love to have more talking points to push.
