I don't disagree they would be over .500 but not 14-1 Roger Goodell and the zebras did that. one could legit say the defense has carried them last year and again this year..mahomes gets the credit but Chris Jones has been the MVP on KC the last two years.

My point being - even if you think Mahomes is the best QB in the league, he's not that big of a difference from the other good QBs in the league(Allen/Jackson/Burrow)
That’s fair, but you’re also comparing arguably all their best seasons to Mahomes worst. And that’s only stats. Put them on this Chiefs roster with the same injuries and you will see the difference

I was surprised they didn't pay sneed..worked out for the rest of the league but I feel like that may hurt them come playoffs when they will need a lock down corner the most but then again seems like all the other top AFC playoff bound teams legit got suspect #1 receivers right now.
Below average help from penalties, agree the defense has been doing more of the carrying tho. That’s where more of the resources have gone. And why they let Sneed go to pay CJ
Sneed has been so ass he literally wanted off Tennessee and back in KC this yr, and that’s my guy
he’s either too old and/or his knee is cooked. Tbh the difference is Jaylen Watson the CB2 breaking his ankle against the 9ers. The secondary was nice until then and fell off a cliff after that, but Omenihu coming back from his ACL the past few wks, along with Karlaftis stepping it up and CJ being CJ has given the pass rush a boost that has given the secondary a break. Plus the young boy Hicks at safety been getting to it lately. As long as CJ is healthy, I trust them and Spags to get it done.
