y'all just find stuff to complain about. Most of the food we eat has been "genetically modified" by man, only difference is this is done in a lab.

The world will starve with our current farming methods and GMO crops are a step in the right direction in preventing that. We always talk about moving into the future, and improving energy, infrastructure, agriculture, etc but when it comes time to do it we get a bunch of people jumping in the way due to their own personal feelings. This is why nothing can get done in this country, cause people will rather complain about how they feel about stuff as opposed to anylizing the real facts and benefits of pursuing certain goals.

Yeah it sucks that this is so closely tied to a big corporation, but that's how things get done in a capitalist society. If the gov. started pursuing things like this on their own, people would be yelling out SOCIALIST.

People starve because food is too expensive. Cheaper food means more people eat. Hell we don't even have to look at other countries. In America the richest country in the world we have plenty of hungry kids.
