Yes but President Obama is right...Black Lives Matter should be more advanced in their message than they are now..They just a bunch of yelling mothafukkas and they implicitly say that they are not interested in formally organize to advance black people politically or economically. Black Lives Matter is a good case study for folk to understand that lecture hall rhetoric without formal organization does not work in these streets to produce tangible results for what they are demanding..Black Lives matter will fade away like occupy wallstreet by the end of the year

Abolitionist movement was organized by Quakers, hardly a minority of their day but I agree that their position was of purity guided by their morality rooted in their religion (by extension they also believed in gender equality, a radical idea in the 1700's as well)..Black Lives matter isnt guided by any moral compass, they denounce all things based on patriarchy (which is what religion is based off of), so they have no real moral guidance in their goals which is why their movement is on thin ice now
If you want to argue that someone should make a distinction that every protesting activity is not part of BLM, then go ahead. Black Lives Matter has done nothing to advance the political and economic capital of black people in this country, that is a fact..Have they brought awareness to issues? sure, but that has been done before time and time again..They are a group that uses dead black male bodies to advance LGBTQI agenda to annihilate the influence of black men..fukk them, they already running out of steam now and with election coverage, itll be curtains for their funding by November.

what moves things in this country? power. where do you get power from? 2 places. Money and Physical numbers of your group.
why has the lgbt thing moved so quickly in their favor? because they have tons of cash and they are in positions of power throughout society already. let it have been started and ran by black people from the hood but smart ones that knew what to say and where. gays would still not be able to get married. i'm just trying to let you know one of the reasons the playing field is different. LGBT have a lot of $$$ backing them. BLM does not because Black people on average are broke/poor. thats a fact.
So yes you need to have the money backing you. go to DC and lobby on your groups behalf. which means meet with them with a great agenda and pay for them to enact said agenda. thats how it works. until that changes(and it seems yall dont want bernie. so yall like it the way it is in politics. so now this is what blm has to do in order to get some movement. get some real money behind you, get a great agenda and lobby away.

If Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz or even Bernie Sanders would even attempt to do the same thing, it would be met with vehement opposition the moment they tried. But Obama is black, he has been through the exact same struggles as they have and managed to succeed and achieve from it. Nobody has more credibility on a big stage than him here.
Also, people should and need to police their own. When police or public servants fukk up, they don't want to hear from people who never lived what they lived through, this is why its important for other police and public servants to speak up. When gay people fukk up, they don't want to hear from people who never had their plight, so you need a gay person to speak to gay people on gay issues. Same with blacks, we aren't trying to hear shyt from people who aren't black on black issues, hence the need for a black person to commune with. Enter Obama.
We need to face facts here, Obama is our first, best and possibly only chance to get black issues pushed through by a black person, so its relatable. We might never get another chance at this, let's not waste the damn opportunity, simply because of purity's sake. Do you want to remain "pure" or do you want to win?
