Change is inevitable...
Mans swung at something up in YonkersVery poor at bat by Cabrera there.

Yep. Also, if we're being honest since 2003 and with the exception of 2009, the Yankees have been a disappointment.Rather see these nikkas crash and burn so some actual change can happen with this team. Them getting to the alcs will just have Cashman pull out the "crapshoot" excuse that he pulls out every year after they lose.

I don't expect them to win the WS every year but this pathetic. Only 1 WS in the last 20 years and no WS appearance in 13 years.
2002-present: 1 WS title.
1982-2002: 4 WS titles.
1962-1982: 3 WS titles.
1942-1962: 10 WS titles.
1922-1942: 9 WS titles.
In terms of championships, this is the worst 20 year span in Yankees history by far. The Yankees are a team of the past, we can't tout 27 championships forever.
It's like the Montreal Canadiens bragging about 24 Stanley Cup titles when they haven't won anything since 1993. Or the 49ers & Cowboys bragging about 5 Super Bowl titles when they haven't won anything since the mid-'90s.
Yep. The Yankees hair/facial hair policy is one of the most antiquated policies in baseball.Team needs a culture change...league is fully of Latino players rocking big ass Mr. T chains wit dreads and we want guys looking like white boys on Wall St. in the 80s....team is being built the antithesis of what the best talent of today is like
what's the analytical reason for judge batting leadoff? Why would u want your best contact and power hitter to be up with nobody on base and have your worst hitters in front of him otherwise?
The only analytical thing I can think of is Judge does get more at bats. Judge usually bats 2nd. Dj and Benintendi are hurt so there's really no one else they trust to bat leadoff. The only other person who gets on base enough anywhere near Judge is Rizzo but he benefits hitting behind Judge. Plus the team started to get out of its slump when Judge started leading off. It was a weird lineup but they started winning again and Boone just rolled with it.what's the analytical reason for judge batting leadoff? Cabrera looks like any of us at the plate right now.I hate to do it to that kid, but don't play Cabrera in game 3 or 4. He’s not catching up to anything
But Judge has to get it together. Maybe push him back to 2.
If not for Stanton we get shut out, but if that Donaldson bloop falls, we’re up 2-0.
Breaks didn’t go our way.
I think Cole starts tomorrow since it’ll be 4 days rest. Game 5 is probably an opener, since it’s gonna all hands on deck anywaySo what’s the starting pitcher situation? Does Cole go in Game 4 either way? If Yankees win today, is Cole saved for a potential Game 5 instead?
Who’s starting Game 5 if Cole starts tomorrow and they need to play it? Taillon/German? German hasn’t pitched in 10 days as of today.
You mean the white Yankee fans.Yep. The Yankees hair/facial hair policy is one of the most antiquated policies in baseball.
Also, it's illegal under NYS law. Based on a 2019 law, it's illegal for an employer in New York State to discriminate against an employee because of their hair. Obviously, NY politicians are scared to force the Yankees to drop the hair policy. Also, some Yankees fans believe that it makes the Yankees "professional" and "unique". SMH.
