I remember a time when NYC was starving for shoppers and couldn't compete with the TAX FREE malls and outlets in NJ. I shopped in NJ for damn near all my clothes through Middle School & High School. Now folks are back harder than ever and some c*nt thinks it's a good idea to financially penalize them for it.

First day in the office this year.
It seems like there's less traffic today.

Then again it's still early in the day. And it's super cold.

Not that I care about the traffic personally. I don't drive in. But hopefully this makes it easier on the trucks and cars that need to get around.

Mind you, EVERYTHING is unpopular at first.

Then they get used to it.
Then they can't remember what life was like without it.

This is retarded.

But whatever.
I suppose his solution is to create a society where the poor all have to buy cars...which...what's the average car payment now? $700 a month? Another $200 a month for the insurance? Not including the gas or maintenance charges required?

These smart-dumb motherfukkers are...whatever. I would bet this a$$hole is one of those libertarian idiots.

Why even waste my time...

You don't have to pay the congestion prices if you take the FDR, meaning the FDR will be backed up even more. Also more pushed into the Bronx.

So these Midtown crackers talking about the traffic disappearing is funny considering it didn't disappear, it just dispersed over to other areas. Areas filled with predominantly ethnic/poor people. But that's ok, because it's "not in my neighborhood" :mjpls:

Fam that’s if you stay on the FDR bypassing lower manhattan going into Brooklyn… don’t get it twisted the moment you step foot off the FDR below 60th street you getting hit with that work :mjlol:

Everybody is getting charged.

They cut it from 15 to 9 and they removed the planned surge days. We knew it was coming somehow, it was never going to go away completely once we reached this far.
Remember the speeding cameras, first they were only on school hours, then they changed them to all day and now they are 24/7

Once the infrastructure is in place it’s only a matter of when they will raise the prices again

I hate everything about this City
