Pac was never like the kid in that audition video. Lol. That was him acting proper for a school tape. And I believe that was in B More. He was dirt poor there. He also started rapping there when his man's died. But NY is weird. Some will accept him. Some won't. We finicky about claiming hoods we weren't born in. It all depends tho.
Oh no doubt. I’m not saying Pac was lame, but he was your average hood square kid who grew up poor, but also could navigate in other social circles as well. It’s just when he moved out west and wasn’t in school, that’s when he was hanging around more street dudes.
I’m an outsider, so him being there since college pretty much (and he’s almost 40 now), he’s basically a New Yorker to me, but he always claims his North Carolina roots, so idk.
