I don't even know anyone that old who can name 3 NXT stars

It’s actually a buncha fat 30 year old neckbeards watching wrestling from their old ass parents basement, using their cable

Don’t know how people haven’t realized that by now lol

AEW need a real fukking angle to get people talking.

I think most of their shows have been enjoyable but it's just typical wrasslin shyt....heel stable beat down baby faces, dirtybag heel cuts shyt talking promo, Cody just regurgitating Jim Crocket and Mid-South shyt. It's fine for what it is but it's not gonna move the needle. They need something that is gonna capture people's imagination.

But But, no one owns a TV, but but ratings don't matter.

AEW has lost a million viewers since they debuted. A MILLION.

They gotta overhaul the format. Less 25 minutes matches with no one knows, more segments, more promos or :camby:

They had a show full of segments last week and people said it was too much talking not enough action. NXT is literaly match after match with commercials in between and they won so what does that say?

i like both shows for different reasons

NXT had higher ratings on a go home and a post-PPV show so it makes sense

next week should provide a better picture of which show will have the higher ratings going forward

The most competent take I've seen on TSC, Twitter or Wreddit since the ratings came out.

Hopefully Meltzer finally gives them a stern lecture. Khan will only change things when people like that admit something is wrong

And get Brandi off twitter. She makes Stephanie look like Mary Poppins

That's actually pretty surprising to me since AEW actually tried to book for the show ahead of time and promote a bit, and NXT was coming off a post PPV but also wouldn't have any of the Raw/SD guys on the show which seemed to be driving the viewership in the previous few weeks. I think what's more surprising is that the gap between viewership was much more last week than the week prior, and AEW's drop off was much more significant of a dip. I don't think you can blame the holiday either since NXT's viewership was for a show at the same time and was higher than most eps over the past 8 weeks.

Lol meltzer bout to say this was a great rating, AEW won the 18 demo and he expected NXT to do more than a million coming off a big angle and the fact that they didn’t is awful For WWE

We know how this goes

Should be using his twitter platform to at least say that much

However he'll just continue arguing with trolls about star ratings and Tanahashi

edit 3 minutes later seems like I set off the bat signal :pachaha:

He's right tho. If NXT kicks AEW's ass by the same margin or wider this Wednesday and the demos are still low then it's time to panic. You don't panic the week after NXT gets a post-PPV bump and Survivor Series win, that's just being reactionary..
