Which is what we all predicted lol. We all said Vince would ruin NXT and this is just the beginning of that.

I watched Wednesday’s episode yesterday and that shyt was fire.
If you think it was trash I’m convinced it ain’t shyt they can do to entertain you lol.. and I don’t even fukk with NXT like that.

NXT was supposed to have its own feel and vibe which it did in the beginning but it has felt like a diet main roster for a few years now. Only the Takeovers feel different. Idk if thatvmeans its ruined or not but i can see the argument there.

Granted I don’t watch NXT ever, but what I did see was night and day compared to garbage ass RAW and Smackdown but thats just me
I think some of y’all cappin like the shyts “ruined” or not good because it’s WWE affiliated and going against AEW directly, which y’all love right now - and of course nikkas need a villain so NXT is the ops by proxy
but that shyt was fire. I probably still won’t watch takeover tho

Like I said, idk if anything is ruined or not but they just edged out AEW with an internal interpromotional war just 6 weeks in. Thats a dangerous precedent for the future and being able to sustain it. If they couldnt get it done with the roster they have, it may result in Vince taking over and watering it down and there is a historic case for that happening (ECW) so yeah i can see where that sentiment comes from

As far as what the ratings are, I’ll laugh and talk shyt when they beat AEW or vice versa because it’s not that deep and nikkas be in their feelings about it, but every Wednesday I’m personally never choosing to watch NXT over anything. I’ll watch impractical jokers over that shyt.
I’m not gonna pretend they’re not putting out a quality product though, I just like the AEW narrative more. It’s new.. I’ve seen nxt be spectacular, but I’m so off WWE as a whole tbat it makes me not give a fukk about it

I feel that. Im pretty unbothered by the ratings. I just dig the AEW shows and thats all that really matters to me in the long run. Lucha Underground had terrible ratings and i loved that show too. Its a matter of preferenceMy posts were addressing the product itself

This shyt is mostly funny because there is no war, that's some shyt pushed out by people who want that shyt because it helps their business. WWE already accomplished their goal.
NXT was a money losing project according to all the dirtsheets, they got $30m to put NXT on USA & according to the same dirtsheets NXT is no longer a money losing project. They just need USA to be happy with the numbers they pull every week & their fine since they got a rights fee deal. AEW needs the numbers because they split ad revenue & TNT pays for their production, the numbers dropping for them actually matters because unless Khan really is Jacksonville Dixie I'm sure he wants to see some kind of return on his investment.
They split the audience so instead of AEW pulling over a million every week easy, NXT cuts into that. If WWE was really trying to get people to tune in every week they wouldn't be throwing the episode up on the Network a day later unlike what they do with Raw & SmackDown.
But every Thursday when the numbers come through it's all about the demos all of a sudden because both these shows despite being great combine to do third hour of Raw numbers after they point out how awful that number is. Don't get the demo talk on Tuesdays & Saturdays, just that it's the lowest number since whatever random point in time they find.
