The only thing it speaks volumes to is this being an anti-WWE/pro-AEW fan forum, which was already known. AEW threads will always have a ton more replies than NXT threads on here, regardless of which show had more viewers or what was the consensus "better show" that week.

NXT threads never do numbers, even when NXT is the better show and more people watch it. So using thread reply ratios is pointless. Coli thread reply ratio doesn't strongly correlate with viewership or critical reception. The Coli (and most other smarkish internet boards) will lean heavily AEW regardless if it's better or worse than NXT.

lol.

this aint no dam smark board. theres smarks on here, but the majority of this place is clearly pro-WWE. most people on here barely know any history thats not WWF. the majority of threads on here are WWE, while almost all topics involving other promotions are relegated to one thread. AEW falls somewhere in the middle of all that, but dont get it twisted. WWE marks are the majority here.

I don't think wwe even care. They aren't focused on nxt vs aew. They're a development show. Aew could advertise moxley vs Jericho while hhh would book something like Damian priest vs Johnny gargano:russ:

NXT hasnt been a developmental show in YEARS, outside of the performance center people that they sprinke in.

damian priest & johnny gargano are developmental wrestlers to you??

i dont know why they went back to branding it as developmental, especially after the push they gave the brand around this time last year. i guess they waved the white flag to AEW on wednesdays.

I was expecting a bad number for NXT. Last Wednesday's show on paper was hot garbage.

Kinda surprised they almost hit a million given the show was taped and wasn't nearly as stacked as last week.

Ratings are largely reactive so this is based on the buzz of last week. Must see tv is largely dead especially for wrestling in the stream era. Either way a monster number for AEW and a steady post takeover number for NXT.

AEW had a hot angle and a returning legend appear on Wednesday's show. It was expected to get a good number.

Post Takeover episodes have been :trash: for a while now. They usually half ass them.

NXT's main event guys have been there too long and they haven't freshened up the scene too much. Johnny gargano in particular has been on at least 15 takeovers.
