One thing I never seen explained is... What do I do when I reach my max with weights and I cant get all 5 reps or sets done

Do you then stall on the weight your struggling with?

Hows that work?

deload 10-20% of the weight, and resume 5x5

biggest thing is make sure your form is spot on while the weight is low. I cant stress this enough

Ive been watching vids on proper form and brought someone with one day


dont have $$ for a PT to watch me all the time though

you dont need a PT

what youre doing is correct, im just saying dont stop

it should be built into your system until its perfect

because if you have ass form and try to lift heavy weight, then youll be done before you got started

Finished day 3 of workout A 5x5.. Overall I feel alright, Nervous that my form sucks, but I keep watching vids on youtube trying to correct it. Work out was very quick again today, I'd say around 20mins or so..

I bought some chicken breast a few days ago and let them marinate all last night. I ended up busting this out

Can I use dumbbells for the overhead press... Only bar type there are the squat bars that are long as hell (nh) and the ones that start out around 20lbs??

I start work out B tomorrow

I use the regular Olympic 45 pound par for overhead press :manny:

all lifts require a 7 foot 45lb standard olympic bar :cheff:

no DBs allowed.

Can I ask you a q, you were a regular skinny dude why and how did you get so out of shape in a year B? Definitely work on that chest no homo. Incline dumbbell bench is goat.

Today was my one week weigh in since I officially started keeping track of calories ad working out 3x a week...


I'm down 2.4lbs

I started at 193

I'm now at 190.6lbs
