This man is a hero....the US government has been lying to us about Chinese hacking

What's the problem with hacking and spying on China? They do the same to us.

As for hero I disagree. I admire the whistle blowing but running to China. He is probably a Chinese spy. If he wanted to be a hero and take part in civil disobedience, he would have stayed in America. The aclu would have hooked him up with some lawyers and he could have defended his position.

Your emails are being read and phone conversation is being tapped whenever the government deems it necessary and you are ok with that?:mindblown:

At least the Chinese are open about their hacking of us...

No way he he walks had he done this in the USA

It's only funny because Ecuador doesn't give a shyt about their own freedom of the press at all. Like that President is basically a sworn enemy of the media. But all these other countries couldn't pass on a chance to shyt on the US :pachaha:

No it hasn't....... do you know how long America had been in existence prior to the "patriot act" :rudy:

Before that it was next to impossible to read someones email or phone conversation unless there is evidence a crime has been committed.

Patriot act removes all that and lets the government do whatever it pleases when it deems it fit.

I refuse to support the patriot act.

no it doesnt, the patriot doesnt "remove all that", the patriot creates the procedure for tapping people, and the patriot act has been approved by all three branches

if you are against the patriot act that is one thing, but the patriot act is not a free license to tap anybody, i dont know where you go that from and none of the evidence that has been revealed shows that there has been some kind of indiscriminate tapping

the government has always been able to tap your phone with judicial permission

Juan Roberto's bald spot
Glenn Greenwald sonning these idiot liberals..
@ggreenwald

How liberals can go from admiring Dan Ellsberg to cheering Obama's systemic attack on leakers is a testament to their intellectual dexterity

Greenwald is an emoprog who lives in Brazil and blogs for a UK newspaper, he will not win the battle for public opinion in the red white and blue, it is what it is

Are you saying the US was always tapping phone calls and reading emails at the rate Snowden is alleging?

If that's the case then patriot act was not necessary:stopitslime:
