Speaking of this, I've learned to second guess any time white people are supposedly concerned with the plight of black people. It's always a I'm a show this hand but play this one.

So why the concern now, why the sudden revelation. How did they not know these things are happening?

:demonic: they've always known. The question to ask is what are they going to get out of it.
They will get the city back that's what. Major cities are ripe for gentrification and these "fixes" will help expedite this process.

The lady from Detroit called them out about it. They had no answer for her.

Instead of using all this money trying to "fix transportation" how bout you just pay black people reparations for all the harm you've done
Can't fix that though can you :rudy:

got a link?

but yeah.. when they did all of this heinous shyt, they of course made a shyt load of inefficient infrastructure. Which they will have to tear down/redo.

So I can really see what you're saying.

Its crazy cause i was just driving home on the interstate last week, for some reason started to pay attention to the run down neighborhoods on both sides of it, and began wondering what it was like for the people who lived in the path of the interstate when they decided to build it. Thanks for this, fam.

This is mandatory listening for everyone.

It talks with explicit quotes about efforts to undermine and destroy black communities by reducing transit opportunities and limiting access to those communities in ways that has to this day affected the development of economies.

There were laws and policies in places to limit black transit and have affected things like commute and ease of commerce in ways that are still being seen today. MARTA in Atlanta sucks. In Baltimore many areas are being prevented from expanding transit in black communities. In Los Angeles they turned affluent black neighborhoods in to slums on purpose.
I can see why people think we're the same person: we have the same posting style. :ehh:

Cacs :scust:

its crazy how out here in Dallas, we're the 4th largest metro in the country with 7 million people. The black suburbs are all in the southern part, and the south eastern suburbs also are minority white and majority black and mexican.
But they literally have no types of transportation in any of the cities. From Mesquite all the way to cedar hill, not one damn bus route, and mind you this area probably has like 400-500,000 people with dozens of high schools and all types of shyt in between. Heres a map so you get a better idea.

From mesquite all the way to duncanville its not type of Public transportation, even tho you can claerly see they immediately border the city.

That area right there from Duncanville to Lancaster is Majority black full of nice homes that look like this.

Hutchins to Mesquite is more so majority mexican, and probably 30% black, 15% cac.

Meanwhile you got small ass cac places like Addison that got trains and free wifi and shyt :camby:

Another example of this are the overpasses in new york that were constructed around 1900 by racist urban planner Robert Moses. He made sure they were too low to let bus passes so the bus couldn't reach poor black areas.

To this day public transportation is still shyt in NY because of his fukked up planning.

The lingering effects of NYC's racist city planning

Yall shouldn't be shocked that white people ACTIVELY played a hand in creating Americas ghettos. It wasn't just "oh well the ghettos just got so poor that they just became violent and out of control" nah b :camby:

America is the only First world country where the ghettos can and have rivaled those in 3rd world countries. Think about that.

Robert Moses was the true devil. He built the Cross Bronx Expressway, one of the most expensive highways ever built ( 1 million dollars per mile) in the middle of the BX and cut whole neighborhoods in half. Its the reason why the South Bronx became a CESS POOL in the 70s and 80s. When he was building the damn Triboro bridge, he knocked down entire neighborhoods of underclass working folks and forced them out. People used to think he loved highways and cars more than people. Dude was sociopath.

And sad enough they named a highway after that piece of shyt.
